Public Libraries Planning Profile

The Public Libraries Planning Profile shows libraries performance in the last five years relating to the Public Libraries Standards as well as a number of other indicators. Data is taken from the CIPFA Public Libraries Statistics 2002/3 Actuals and 2003/4 Estimates. as in previous years.

Nearest Neighbours Selection Model for Public Libraries

The "nearest neighbours selection model" has been developed by IPF in order to aid local authorities in comparative and benchmarking exercises. Users are provided with a wide range of indicators specific to the Public Library Service upon which "family groups" of authorities or "nearest neighbours" can be generated.
